Stress Related Hair Loss – One of the Major Reasons for Baldness
Today
According to research, there is a relation between stress and
hair loss. Today, stress related hair loss is seen as one of the
major causes for baldness. Stress is one of the main reasons why men and
women are losing hair. Hair loss due to stress is not permanent, but in some
cases it can lead to baldness.
There is a relation between how good you feel about yourself and the health
of your hair. If you are stressed your hair might become thin and dull. If
stress is not controlled and if it is continuous then it could spoil your
whole health and even cause permanent baldness. Losing hair in a particular
season (as during winter) is not a reason to worry, as most people will
eventually grow it back after some time.
Some women lose hair after childbirth, or you start losing it after a
stressful surgery. There are lots of ways to prevent stress related baldness
and you should take the necessary precautions if you are stressed. Doing the
things you enjoy will help you overcome stress. In today’s life many of us
have family, job or money related problems. Overcoming these problems will
help in relieving stress.
Some pills can also aggravate stress and related problems like hair loss,
allergies etc. Stress may lead to baldness if proper preventive action is
not taken. Relaxing and doing yoga may help in reducing tension. Aerobics
exercises help the blood to flow to all parts of the body to further reduce
stress. Having a hobby you enjoy will provide relaxation after a stressful
day at work. There are stress-reducing medicines available, but it is
advised to reduce tension naturally instead of taking medication. Proper
nutrition, exercise, sleep and relaxation techniques will help in reducing
stress related baldness and may promote renewed growth and stop further hair
loss.
