treatment is performed by a therapist who harvests cells from the person’s
body and then injects them into the balding area of the scalp. The idea is
for them to develop into new follicles that will lead to regeneration and
regrowth.
Controversial Procedure
Stem cell research is somewhat controversial because there are two sources
of source material – embryonic and adult. Some people feel that harvesting
embryonic material is morally wrong, while others maintain that it can be
done in a way that is ethical. This debate is likely to continue for the
near future, making development of regeneration therapy as a
hair loss solution somewhat
unpredictable.
Stem cell therapy is in its infancy as a viable treatment for baldness and
receding hairlines. As the demand for a new natural hair loss remedy
continues to grow, however, it is likely that this new form of regeneration
will develop further and eventually become an effective and totally natural hair loss treatment.
